It was a mile stone in the history of Indian Space Research. Our President compared that day with that of Neel Armstrongs landing in Moon for the first time. He explained how Indians were very strong in astronomy even from ancient times. Dr.Mylsamy has received honorary Doctorate from nearly forty universities. Though hailing from humble family, he had the rare opportunity to reach these heights due to his extra efforts and different way of thinking. He was able to achieve this victory in Chandrayan 1, after five years hard labour and sixty five trials. Water in moon was discovered due to his different way of thinking. If we have the determination to achieve anything, then even the moon will be in our hands. Where there is a will there is a way. Students should aim high. So that they could elevate  themselves and our nation. All the twenty four hours in a day are very important to us. We must utilize the time properly. Books had great impact in Gandhiji’s life. Books could make turning points in our life. So we must read good books whenever possible.

Following his speech we had a question session. Students lined up to ask a number of questions. He answered all questions convincingly and rewarded the good questions. He assured that Chandrayan II would be landing in moon very soon.
