Congratulations to our teachers and students of plus two and tenth standard. Our plus two result is 98.6 % pass and 2 boys have scored over 1100 and 21 boys above thousand. Creditable performance by these rural children who face many hurdles in every day life. Our 10^th result is 99 % pass. Remarkable achievement by these children. One student has scored 474 out of 500. Four students got 100 % marks in Maths, Two have scored centum in Science. Out of 218 students only two have failed.

The Gandhiniketan Ashram is proud of its teaching staff who are committed to their profession. We wish them all the best.

In service Meeting for the academic year 2009-10, was conducted on 29.05.2009. Both the Primary and higher Secondary School teachers attended the meeting. The meeting started with Ashram chairman Prof.R.Venkataswami ayya’s greetings. He congratulated the teachers for their high achievements in X and XII public examinations. He told the teachers to utilize the value education classes fully. He appealed for a good relationship between the two schools. He advised the teachers to maintain cumulative records of students. Class teachers should check the class rooms before closing it in the evening. Department meetings should be conducted atleast once in a month. Men may come and men may go; but institutions remain for ever. So he appealed every one to earnestly work for the betterment of the institution.

At 10’o’ clock both the schools had separate meetings. Higher secondary school H.M. gave a detailed report of the Public Exam results. Our A.O.Mrs.V.Radha was present in the meeting. Teachers discussed in subject groups and submitted their proposed annual performance report. Assistant Headmistress P.Thilagavathi briefed about our CEO’s instructions on online. She also stressed the need for Bridge Course for VI,VII and VIII students.

            The meeting ended at 4.00 pm.
