Virtual Satellite Education (V-SAT) Programme

     
 

Everonn systems India limited has been conducting classes in Essensial of English "Through Virtual Satellite Class-room  (V-SAT), from 09.09.09. All the eight standard students along with English teachers attend the classes from 1.00 p.m to 2.00 p.m, during the working days. Mrs.P.Thilagavathi AHM is co-ordinating the programme. Computer instructors, Mr.M.Muthukumar and Mr.K.Shokkeswaran assist her. Students enthusiastically participate in the interaction. They take down all exercises displayed on the screen and readily answer the questions based on them. This programme helps the students to improve their English vocabulary, spelling, oral skill and listening skill.

Felicitation to the best Teacher Awardee

 
 

Mrs. P.Thilagavathi.AHM, was honoured with ‘ Dr.Radhakrishnan State Award ‘ for the best teachers on 05.09.2009. A silver medal, a citation and a cash award of Rs.5000-/- was awarded to her by the honorable minister for School Education Thiru.Thangam Thennarasu, in the presence of honorable minister for Electricity Thiru.Arcot Veerachamy at Chennai.

A felicitation function was conducted in the school auditorium on 11.09.2009. Madurai Chief Educational Officer, Mrs. G.Ranjanirathnamala presided over the function. Headmistress Mrs.Rajeswari welcomed the gathering. Mr.G.Muthuramalingam, P.G. Chemistry teacher and Mr.K.Nagarajan, P.G. Physics teacher appreciated the dedicated service of Mrs.P.Thilagavathi. They highlighted her special characters – punctuality, sincerity and integrity. 

 Mr.N.Ramanisekar recited a poem in which he explained, how each letter in “ Thilagavathi “ stands for an appreciable quality. In her special address, the CEO eulogized  the awardee and asserted that all the good qualities in her are in-born. In her concluding speech Mrs.Thilagavathi thanked the management for the golden opportunity and appealed to the students to study well. Because it is they who give the opportunity to every teacher to become the best teacher.

Our great patriotic leaders Mahakavi Bharathiyar and Vinobabave were remembered on 11.09.2009. A meeting was conducted in the auditorium at 4.00 pm Mrs.R.Rajeswari HM presided over the function.  Mr.N.Palpandi teacher enumerated how Bharathi with his enthralling songs tried to bring independence to our mother land. He, in his speech, sang several songs of Bharathi.  Mr.R.Janagaraj, PG Tamil Teacher  spoke about Vinobhabave. Though a learned scholar he burnt all his certificates  in order to avoid  a white collar job. He started the greatest Boothan movement in which he collected several lakh  acres of land and distributed among the poor and the landless. Gandhiji considered him as one his dearest friends and spiritual heir. He dedicated his whole life to the service of down-trodden
